Christmas in London and spring tour for Goodnight Mister Tom

Date Posted: 01/09/2012

Goodnight Mister Tom will play a strictly limited West End Christmas season at the Phoenix Theatre this year, before touring the UK until spring.

Running from the 22nd November until the 26th January in London, Oliver Ford Davies will reprise his role as Mister Tom in the critically acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre production.

Set during the dark and dangerous build up to World War Two, Goodnight Mister Tom follows sad William Beech, who is evacuated to the idyllic English countryside and builds a remarkable and moving friendship with the elderly recluse Tom Oakley. All seems perfect until William is devastatingly summoned by his mother back to London.
