Christmas fam trip available from the River Cruise Line

The River Cruise Line is offering group travel organisers a river cruise fam trip this December, for the chance to sample a Christmas markets cruise itinerary.

The trip offers group leaders four days sailing on the Strasbourg Christmas Markets cruise aboard the ms Serenity for £150. GTOs are also welcome to bring a companion for a further £199.

As an additional bonus, the cost of travel for the group leader will be offset against any future group booking in 2018.

What will you do on the cruise?

The cruise, which departs on 12th December, will offer an opportunity to soak up the festive atmosphere aboard the four-star ms Serenity, while travelling to some of Europe's oldest and largest Christmas markets.

The itinerary includes a chance to stock up on festive gifts in Mannheim, where the Christmas market is one of the largest in south-west Germany, or join an optional excursion to historic Heidelberg.

Also included is a full day in Strasbourg, where the market, which is regarded as one of the best in Europe and dates back to the 1570s, is spread across a large area with gifts, food, a giant ice rink and a 100-foot Christmas tree.

The River Cruise Line advises that throughout the trip, group leaders will be able to experience the ‘high standard of service offered by the company, and gain an insight into the support available from the dedicated groups’ team’.

Coach pick-up will be available from a number of local joining points, and the price includes travel to join the cruise, Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone and three nights' accommodation on full board basis, in a middle deck cabin.
