Christmas craft fair at Ironbridge

Date Posted: 19/08/2015

Enginuity at Coalbrookdale, one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums in Shropshire, will be home to a contemporary designer craft fair on 21st and 22nd November.

The two-day event will feature crafts people from across the West Midlands, who will offer a variety of different handmade wares in time for Christmas.

Groups visiting the fair can browse stalls of jewellery, glassware, ceramics, textiles, fine furniture, prints and metal work. A selection of local food producers will also be at the event.

Throughout the weekend visitors can also watch different craft demonstrations.

This year exhibitors include Emily Richard who makes jewellery in precious metals and is influenced by geometric patterns and shapes; Paul Jaques, a sculptor whose work is functional, sensual and often contains amusing conceptual 'traps' and Jen Colquitt who creates decorative wall panels in fine quality porcelain clay often featuring trees, leaves and flowers.
