Celebrity Cruises has announced a range of new day trip excursions on some of its ocean cruises in Stockholm and Grand Cayman.

The cruise line has also unveiled a new holiday around the Galapagos Islands.

New excursion: Western Caribbean Underwater Adventures

GTOs can book their group onto an underwater adventure in Grand Cayman in the Caribbean to see underwater sights at the edge of the Cayman Wall. The trip involves taking a submarine journey with scientist and author Dr Ellen Prager.

During the expedition, guests will observe and learn about top predators such as sharks, the protected coral eco system and a range of fish species.

This excursion can be added to a seven night Western Caribbean cruise onboard the Celebrity Reflection, departing 3rd December 2016.

New excursion: Ben Fogle’s Archipelago Adventures

Celebrity Cruises asked Ben Fogle to have a look at some of the destinations they go to and to come up with some alternative shore excursions for guests.

One in particular is a shore excursion in Stockholm, available to add on to a 14-night Scandinavia & Russia cruise onboard the Celebrity Eclipse.

The energetic day begins with a speedy rib boat ride through the Stockholm archipelago followed by refreshments on the island of Grindo. Groups will then go on a kayaking tour.

Travellers on the Scandinavia & Russia cruise will also get to explore various stops along the way, including Tallinn (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Warnemunde (Germany), and Copenhagen (Denmark).

New cruise: Galapagos Outer Loop

The Galapagos Outer Loop cruise is an 11-night holiday onboard the Celebrity Xpedition. There is plenty of wildlife to see in the area; guests can spot penguins, marine iguanas, albatrosses and the giant Galapagos tortoises that inhabit the island.

During the cruise, travellers can enjoy scenic boat rides, snorkelling and onboard lectures from expert naturalists.

The holiday price includes return flights from London Heathrow, transfers, two-night pre-cruise accommodation, one-night post cruise accommodation and a seven-night cruise departing from Daphne Island (Galapagos).

The cruise ship will call at Baltra, Punta Suarez, and Gardner Bay all of which are on the Galapagos. Other stops include Cormorant Point (Floreana), Urvina Bay (Isabela), and Dragon Hill (Santa Cruz).

This cruise holiday departs in November 2017.

Group discounts are available for GTOs booking eight staterooms or more.
