The Call the Midwife tours are led by your own 'midwife'

Details have been announced for next year’s Festival of Steam and Transport, which is returning to the Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent on 27th and 28th March.

One of the highlights of the annual event will be the chance to have a taster of a Call the Midwife Tour.

The Historic Dockyard Chatham is the filming location for much of the television period drama series, and the taster tour will expose new behind-the-scenes stories and locations that will feature in the upcoming 2016 series and next year’s tours.

Tickets for this experience can be booked on the day at the Call the Midwife booking shed next to the Commissioner's House.
