Big Bournemouth Beer Festival To Return To The BIC %7C Group Travel News

The Big Bournemouth Beer Festival will return to the Bournemouth International Centre for Easter weekend.

The festival is now in its seventh year and will take place from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th March with over 200 traditional real ales, novelty and seasonal beers on offer, as well as a cider and perry bar.

Stewart Parker, group executive head chef for Bh live- a leisure and event operator - has crafted a beer inspired menu, too, including nachos, dirty spuds and smokehouse brisket chilli among other dishes.

There will be live music on the Friday and Saturday from local talent. Friday evening will bring The Tarheels, and The Jimmy Hillbillies will play at lunchtime on the Saturday. Saturday evening will have Black Water Country performing.

The weekend will conclude with the usual Sup-up Sunday, with no admission fee and the Gigs and Rigs open mic session.

The Friday and Saturday evening sessions begin at 6:30pm and last until 11:30pm, and the Saturday afternoon session runs between 12pm and 5pm.

Sup-Up Sunday begins at 3pm and runs until late.

Friday and Saturday will have ticketed sessions, and each admission includes a souvenir beer glass, tasting guide and £1.50 worth of drinks vouchers.

The Big Bournemouth Beer Festival will be sponsored by Hot Rocks, and SAM FM will be the official radio partner.
