A classic car display at Beaulieu.

Motor museum Beaulieu, located in Hampshire, has revealed its events calendar for 2016 – and it is full of ideas for group days out as well as various motoring highlights.

Here is a selection of some of Beaulieu’s events taking place next year.

Spring

17th April: Spring Alfa Day (new for 2016).

This is the first Alfa Romeo Owners Club national event of 2016, where around 500 Alfas will be on display ranging from pre-war models right through to the latest 4C Spider.

24th April: Boat Jumble.

At this boat-centric event, Beaulieu will provide interactive displays, demonstrations and activities for visitors to enjoy in-between browsing maritime-related stalls. The Boatmall will be selling products such as trailerable yachts, dinghies, motorboats, accessories and clothing.

Summer

26th June: Simply VW.

VW enthusiasts can see a variety of VW models at this summer event, from the Golf GTI and Scirocco to classics such as the campervan or the original Beetle. 

3rd July: Austin Seven Rally.

The 750 Motor Club’s annual National Austin Seven Rally will return for its 54th gathering at Beaulieu next summer. Austin 7s of all types from all over the UK and Europe will be on display, while activities including an Austin Autojumble, a driving skills tests and a car appearance competition take place.

Autumn

3rd-4th September: International Autojumble.

This event will boast over 2,000 stands selling a variety of vintage and classic motoring goods. Visitors will also see around 200 vehicles for sale, ranging from classics cars to motorcycles.

Winter

17th December-2nd January: Victorian Christmas.

Group travel organisers planning ahead to next year’s festive events can visit Beaulieu to experience a Victorian Christmas. Carol singing, dressing up in period costumes, festive games and fruit punch will all be included.

Group travel organisers will receive discounted tickets for parties of 15 or more plus a range of guided tours.

Beaulieu is home to the motor museum, as well as a stately home and garden, and a 13th century abbey. Group tickets cover entry to all of these, although some events may have an extra charge.
