Date Posted: 20/07/2015

The Battle of Britain air show at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Cambridgeshire, will commemorate the role of the air field during World War Two’s famous aerial battle.

The air show will take place over the weekend of 19th and 20th September and will mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Visitors to the event will see 20 Spitfires take off and fly in the same formation as they did in the conflict.

Groups will also experience a Spitfire scramble and watch as the planes chase off an enemy aircraft.

Tickets are only available in advance and groups of ten or more are eligible for discounted entry.

Groups can also take advantage of the Silver Pass, which gives access to an exclusive seating enclosure. Gold Passes are also available for those who want an upgraded seating and dining area.
