Autumn launch of NHM’s annual wildlife photography exhibition

Date Posted: 17/08/2012

The Natural History Museum’s annual Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 exhibition opens at the London venue on the 19th October.

Running until the 3rd March, the show provides a spotlight on the rarely-seen wonders of the natural world.

The images that will be on display have been selected from thousands of international entries, combining the work of talented young photographers and gifted amateurs, with leading lights of the profession from around the globe.

Revealing nature photography in its purest form, this collection of images celebrates the beauty of the world we live in, while providing a stark reminder of the fragility of our environment.
