Airedale Tours launch a series of familiarisation trips

Date Posted: 11/11/2012

Airedale Tours are giving group travel organisers the opportunity to visit new destinations to find out the suitability for group holidays in the future.

The familiarisation scheme allows you to find out what sort of holiday would really suit your group. Plus, you will have the flexibility to hand pick location, hotels, and attractions.

Group travel organisers can choose from the following breaks on the familiarisation tour scheme:

A Tale of Two Cities: Guests will experience four nights’ accommodation and various excursions in Dublin and Belfast.

Bournemouth Leisure Weekend: You can enjoy a two-night trip in the four-star Menzies East Cliff Hotel, in walking distance from the sea front.

Bewdley and the Severn Railway: Spend two nights at the Mercure Hotel, with a railway trip included.

The Yorkshire Heritage Tour: This tour is a five day excursion, including visits to York, Beningbrough hall and gardens, and Skipton.

A Golden Age of Variety Break: The holiday to Mill Rythe on Hayling Island has previously been oversubscribed. This is Airedale’s second date for the popular break, and includes trips to Gunwharf Quays and Spinnaker Tower.

A National Trust Break: Group travel organisers can try out three nights at Mickleover Court Hotel, with complimentary entry to Calke Abbey, Sudbury Hall and Kedleston Hall.

A familiarisation tour is potentially a free break for GTOs. Organisers who go on to book for 25 people on the same package within a 12 month period will find themselves reimbursed from their first trip.
