Age of the Dinosaur

Date Posted: 17/12/2010

Dinosaurs make a dramatic return to the Natural History Museum in 2011 with the blockbuster exhibition Age of the Dinosaur. Running from the 22nd April to the 4th September, the display will transport visitors back more than 65 million years to the Jurassic lagoons and Cretaceous forests, home to some weird, wonderful and now extinct plants and animals.

Navigating these dark and mysterious places, groups might encounter insects, mammals and lizards, as well as life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Combining imagery and interactivity with amazing specimens, Age of the Dinosaur will be a journey through millions of years, to life on Earth with the gargantuan reptiles.
