The Barbican has announced its line-up for 2015.

Top billing goes to the forthcoming production of Hamlet. Scheduled for 21st to 25th May, the production will star Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role.

Another famous face – Richard Roxburgh who starred alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible II – will take to the Barbican’s stage. In June Roxburgh will take the lead in Waiting for Godot.

Other highlights of the stage season include a residency by the Berliner Philharmoniker in February and an adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel Kafka on the Shore by the Ninagawa Theatre Company.

In the gallery space, meanwhile, the big draw has to be the Magnificent Obsessions: The Artist as Collector exhibition, which will feature works by Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst among others.

The Barbican accepts group bookings for many of its events. To find out more call the group booking line on 020-7382 7221 or visit www.barbican.org.uk.
