2013 programme announced at The National Gallery

The National Gallery in London has recently confirmed its 2013 programme, with many up-coming exhibitions suitable for group visits.

Highlights include Barocci’s altarpieces, such as his famous Entombment from Senigallia and Last Supper from Urbino Cathedral; Niagara Falls, from the American Side by Frederic Church; and 19th century masterpieces by Joseph Mallord William Turner, Claude Monet and Edouard Manet as part of Birth of a Collection.

Next year’s art schedule comprises:

Richard Hamilton: The Late Works: 10th October to 13th January
Seduced by Art: Photography Past and Present: 31st October to 20th January
• Frederic Church: American Master of the Oil Sketch: 6th February to 28th April
• Barocci: Brilliance and Grace: 27th February to 19th May
• Birth of a Collection: The Barber Institute of Fine Arts and the National Gallery: 22nd May to 1st September
• Michael Landy: Saints Alive: 22nd May to 24th November
• Vermeer and Music: Love and Leisure in the Dutch Golden Age: 26th June to 8th September
• The Portrait in Vienna 1867–1918: 9th October 2013 to 12th January 2014

Talks and tours for groups
