200,000 new tickets for One Man, Two Guvnors

Nicholas Hytner’s five-star production of One Man, Two Guvnors has announced a further 200,000 tickets for sale, extending its booking period until August next year.

The show is currently running at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Tom Edden joins the cast

Group travel organisers can enjoy Tom Edden in the main role as Alfie the waiter from 19th November.

He is joined by Owain Arthur as Francis Henshall, Jodie Prenger as Dolly, Phil Cornwell as Charlie, and Rhona Croker as Pauline.

The London production also features performances from David Benson, Nigel Betts, Derek Elroy, Daniel Ings, Ben Mansfield and Gemma Whelan.

Synopsis

Based on Carlo Goldoni’s The Servant of Two Masters, the plot of One Man, Two Guvnors follows the confusion of Francis Henshall, who finds himself employed by two men. One is a gangster, the other a criminal.

Amidst the comedy of misidentification between various characters, Francis must keep his employers apart to prevent them from realising he has two jobs.

Critical acclaim

Tom Edden returns to the role of Alfie, having been nominated for a Tony Award in the role on Broadway. His other stage credits include Hamlet, 101 Dalmatians, and Oliver!

Sparking huge critical acclaim in its original run, One Man, Two Guvnors has recently completed its successful tour at New York’s Music Box Office Theatre.
